Almost Spring Greetings!
This issue is full of Authors, Fairies and other Magical folk coming to our Artisan Fair and all kinds of cool events coming up. Our dance card isn't quite full, but we are definitely doing our happy dance now that we've moved to our great new store space at 3012 Lyndale Ave S. Thanks to everyone who came to our Grand Opening on October 31st. It was fabulous! We even had Morris Dancers out front. If you want to see some nice pictures of the inside of our new store, check out the article by the local pagan press here >Haven't made it to the new location yet? Here's a map to show you how to get here! We are open from 11am to 9pm Mon-Sat and 11am to 7pm on Sundays. There is metered parking in front of the store (meters until 6pm) and there is free street parking just on the other side of 31st street, or on the side streets on either side of Lyndale. (Aldrich & Garfield). If you prefer a lot, there is the Lyn-Lake lot behind the Jungle Theater. It is a pay lot, $1.00 per hour. Our entrance, with the Eye of Horus logo sign above it is set at an angle, towards 31st street. If you are coming from Lake Street, look for the store with great big "Metaphysical" above the windows. With our larger space, we are also offering many new classes and workshops, now that we have an expanded class space. One big event coming up on Sunday Dec 5th from 3-5pm is the celebration of the release of Color a Magic Spell - a new coloring book for all ages featuring art by Anne Marie Forrester and text by Estelle Daniels. This is a bit different from most book-release events, because you can actively participate! Anne Marie will give a brief talk about art as magick, then you will use pages from her book to color in your own spell, creating art, and blessing art. Please call 612-872-1292 if you are planning on coming, so we know how much materials to have on hand. Please bring a $10 donation to cover costs of materials if you plan to participate. You don't have to participate. You can just come and buy the books and get them signed, but coloring is much more fun!
See you soon!
