Live Interactive Painting Exhibition and Art Forum Invite Open Attendee Participation

Added Creative Element to One Woman Business National Business Conference

HOUSTON (August 5, 2010) - More than 80 subject experts and 1,200 women from all walks of life will be gathered on Friday and Saturday, August 6-7, 2010, at the One Woman National Business Conference® (One Woman®).

Hosted by the Texas Business Alliance, One Woman® will again be held at the Omni Houston Hotel, Four Riverway, Houston, Texas 77056. This year's theme is "Still Standing," celebrating the resilience of entrepreneurs who withstood 2009's challenging economic climate.

Incorporating the vital business of art, the conference nowAdams includes a free art forum and special live interactive painting session. Reginald Adams (pictured right), public artist and founder of the Museum of Cultural Arts Houston (mocah.org), will develop the live painting "Co-creation in the Vortex" from 8 a.m.- noon on Saturday, August 7 onsite. Best known for his brilliantly colored tile mosaic murals and sculptures, Reginald will utilize a bold mixed media technique to create a 3' x 4' original work of art that will inspire, entertain and engage participants in the creative process. The title of the artwork exemplifies his philosophy of integrating the public in the development of his work.

The final artwork will then be auctioned live at 1 p.m. during the Soaring Heights Awards Brunch, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Texas Business Alliance's Youth Entrepreneurship Academy® (YEA), which equips high school and college students with the tools and resources to pursue an entrepreneurial career alternative.
