REPAIRED PUMP SALE
The ICDI Pump repairs teams have been busy in 2009...so much so that they have repaired 50 more pumps that what we in the US Home office have been able to raise funds for. At ICDI we don’t want to just help people by teaching them to fish, we want to empower them to manage the entire pond thereby assuring the food security for generations to come! ICDI’s Agriculture "food security" programming supplies essential nutritional fruit tree saplings as well as vegetable and grain seeds. For $250 you can give an African family the blessing of these garden start-up supplies and thereby empower mothers and fathers to provide nutritious food for their entire family! ORPHANED AT CHRISTMAS
The tough economic times that we face here in the United States have a trickle down effect in the poorest country of Central Africa. Currently ICDI has 200 children orphaned by the AIDS pandemic that are not currently sponsored. Most of these were previously sponsored, but due to financial hardships their sponsors have not been able to continue their support. Now these children are financially orphaned during this holiday season. ICDI commits to care for these children as best as we can, stretching dollars as much as possible. But we can’t hold out for long without your help. Sponsor one of these children for $35 per month or $420 for the year by designating your gift to “Christmas Children”. .

ICDI’s Micro-Finance/Enterprise Program encourages entrepreneurial and creative outside-the-box thinking by lending start-up funds to people with great ideas for small businesses. For as little as $300 a small group of Central Africans will invest their own sweat equity to start up small business ventures that provide significant long-term economic security for their families. All loans are paid back within short time frames so that the seed funds can be used again to finance new ideas with other people. ICDI’s repayment success rate tops 95% ! Designate your gift of any amount to “Small Business Start-Ups”. We currently have a waiting list of nearly 100 people with great ideas who are just waiting for you!
