A woman in Oregon was arrested and charged with reckless driving and reckless endangering after police clocked her speeding down the highway at 103 mph with her 10-year-old grandson in the car. She told police she was trying to teach her grandson about the dangers of speeding, and warned him never to drive the way she was about to. |

Some of the team from Assured Automotive took part in the 21st Anniversary of the Canada Life CN Tower Climb recently. The event was held to raise money for the World Wildlife Fund.

Photos from Roberts Complete Auto grand opening
Fix Auto Barrie North, owned and operated by Roberts Collision, recently celebrated the opening of a new business, Roberts Complete Auto Care, which offers complete mechanical service. The grand opening was celebrated with a charity barbecue, with all proceeds going to support Candlighters Simcoe, a volunteer run organization that provides for families of children/teens with cancer in Simcoe County and surrounding area.

Henry "Hank" Nissen: 1930 - 2011
Henry (Hank) James Nissen of Hank's Auto Wreckers passed away on Thursday at the age of 81. In 1965 Hank and his wife Shirley founded Hank's Auto Wreckers in St Clements, Ontario and nurtured it into a very successful family business. He stayed there until health issues forced him to retire in 2007.

Fix Auto Richmond Hill and Town Auto Body have begun finalizing a merger with Center Hill Auto Body.
Center Hill Auto Body has been a family owned and operated business for 32 years, operating on Center Street in Richmond Hill. The facility specializes in European luxury and sports car collision repairs, along with restoring North American classic cars.

Weldcraft introduces WP-17 series TIG torches
 Weldcraft has introduced its WP-17 Series of air-cooled TIG torches, designed for welding on thin-to-medium gauge materials. The series includes six different styles of TIG torches, including models with gas valves and flex necks.
