Greetings!
I must ask your forgiveness. I've labelled just about 50 per cent of our online stories so far this year as 2010. This despite the fact that I've caught myself about a dozen times and called myself every name I could think of before fixing the typo.
I usually spot and fix it before a story's been online too long, but it really drives home the fact that I'm a creature of habit if I like it or not, and I should design my work flow to correct this.
It's a great example of something I can improve in my process to reduce errors: it's repetitive, predictable, and in the hands of an over- or under-caffeinated editor. (It also helps that it's attached to a computer.)
But how about you? Have you found any thing in your work life lately that you can streamline?
Let me know and I can share the answers with other Collision Repair readers. |
