President of Fix Auto Canada Manon Duplantie announced that Steve Leal has accepted the position of COO for Fix Auto Canada.

PartsCheck Live launches in California

Canadian company PartsCheck Live recently announced its official launch in Northern California. PartsCheck is an online, real-time quote and bid system for the collision parts marketplace. "We're focussing on the San Francisco area as our first market," said CEO Brad Desaulniers. "The high concentration of collision parts business combined with a well educated technology-conscious user base makes California an excellent market for PartsCheck."

BASF Refinish Paints recognized by Mothers Awards at SEMA

BASF Automotive Refinish Solutions announced that vehicles bearing its refinish paints were awarded the top two Mothers Awards at the 2010 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show.
