Greetings!

The Insurance Bureau of Canada is sounding the alarm about fraudulent collision claims. The organization sent out an alert over the weekend warning insurers of an increase in staged collisions in recent months.

The Globe and Mail reported on their front page Monday that the fraudsters are increasingly involving innocent drivers to avoid detection.

You can see the Globe's full report here.

If you've encountered staged collisions or insurance fraud in your business dealings please consider sending us an email to share you experiences and offer your thoughts on solving the problem.

See you next week. Take care,

-Joe Rayment
