Vermillion, Iowa recently got a pelting of tennis ball-size hail. Perhaps some business down south for our PDR practitioners?

Greetings!

In the past week, we've posted in the range of 350 photos from six industry events.

To do this, we use Flickr, which is one of my favourite online communities. It helps us solve a few technical challenges, but it also allows for a few cool features.

For example, did you know you embed our photo galleries on your own website or blog? So that way if we cover an event that a) you hosted or b) your customers might be interested to see, with a few clicks put it front and centre on your webpage.

Here's the trick:
  1. Sign in to Flickr.com (it's free)
  2. Go to the photo gallery in question (for example, here)
  3. Press the play button, then click the "Share" in the top right corner of the slideshow
  4. Click the "copy to clipboard" button under "Grab the embed HTML"
  5. Paste the code on your webpage or blog

It's just like re-posting a YouTube video!

(Though keep in mind, you have to have the ability to edit your website or blog for this to work.)

If you're having trouble send me an email and we can try to work it out.

See you next week. Take care,

-Joe Rayment
