Hands on the Wheel, Dammit:  A German truck driver crashed his 18-wheeler near Boras, Sweden last month. The driver wasn't seriously hurt, but he was found pinned in the wreckage, with his pants down and matters...er, in hand.

Estimate severity has deceased despite rising OEM part prices according to Mitchell International's Special NACE Edition of its Industry Trends Report (ITR). The report reveals "the substitution effect"  has produced surprising findings important to all participants in the collision repair marketplace.

Tony DeSantis Joins Fix Auto

3M Donates $300,000 in Product to Collision Repair Schools

3M has donated more than 300 of its Dynamic Mixing Systems, valued at $300,000, to the I-CAR Education Foundation to be distributed to collision repair schools across the continent. Four Canadian schools will benefit.  Working with 3M, the I-CAR Education Foundation will arrange to have the Dynamic Mixing Systems distributed to career and technical schools and colleges that offer collision repair and automotive refinishing training programs.

At least four Canadian schools will benefit from the program, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (Edmonton,  AB),  Estevan Comprehensive School ( Estevan,  SK),  Morris School ( Morris,  MB) and NBCC Saint John ( Saint John,  NB)
