A woman in Joliet, Illinoi received 2nd degree burns when she wanted to see whether the gas can she was filling inside her car was full. She used the closest light source to hand: her cigarette lighter.

Danny D'Addio Passes Away

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annibale (Danny) D'Addio. Danny pass away suddenly on September 6, 2009 at Hamilton General Hospital at the age of 71. Danny was the proud owner of Maple Leaf Collision Centre ~ CSN  and was a very dedicated cyclist and marathon runner.

He will be fondly remembered as the beloved husband of Rosalba, proud father of Frank (Grace), Joseph (Melissa) and David (Janet), and the loving grandfather of Daniel, Alyssa, Michael, Kyle, Ayranna, Ermas and Luca. He is survived by his brothers, sisters and cousin Pasquale Perrotta and family.
Green Shows True Colours at WorldSkills Calgary 2009

When building and painting plastic model cars at age eight, Daniel Green of Drumheller, Alberta, did not realize 10 years later he'd turn his hobby into a full-time job at Peterson Autobody Limited, a popular local repair shop. Now 22 years old, Green's colourful career choice took him to WorldSkills Calgary 2009 in September representing Canada in the car painting competition. He qualified after winning both the provincial and national skills competitions in Calgary last year.
