Is This For Real?
Don't Ask, Don't Get Arrested: You know how occasionally some crook will get pulled over for some relatively minor issue like speeding, and when the cops run his plates, it turns out the guy is wanted for bank robbery or murder?
You can chalk that up to bad luck. But what a man in Athens, Georgia did can't be considered anything but stupid. It seems he pulled over a passing police car to inquire whether he had any warrants outstanding against him!
The officer informed him that no, there were no warrants, but that the man's driver license was under suspension, so he shouldn't be driving, and was arrested.

Greetings!
Mitchell has released its latest Industry Trends Report. It's a good solid issue, with the usual Canada specific section. Of particular interest to me this time around, though, was an article by Jason Bertellotti, VP of repair solutions for Mitchell. It's on the data collection methods used in customer satisfaction surveys. It gives a capsule review of each of the most prominent methods, and speculates about how surveying methods will evolve to fit new communications technology. Mike Davey,Editor |
