Is This For Real?

Broke a Nail: The woman who holds a place in the Guinness Book of Records for the world's longest fingernails has reportedly lost them in a car accident. Lee Redmond of Salt Lake City had not cut her fingernails since 1979.

Wedgie-Woman!: This story also features a woman from Salt Lake City, which must be a much stranger place than we had thought. Yvonne Morris reacted immediately when she heard a car alarm and saw a man rifling a co-worker's vehicle. She gave chase and put him in a headlock. He struggled, and Ms. Morris started grabbing whatever she could, which ended up being his underpants. The man was later booked on a number of charges and presumably treated for severe wedgie-ing.

A Ford First?: The first Ford cars had Dodge engines. Maybe Henry Ford liked the Dodge brothers' work. Or maybe he just liked that they would work for stock in lieu of cash.

Ahead of Their Time: Electric cars were first introduced in 1896 and by 1900 almost 50% of cars worldwide were electric. However, by 1905 80 per cent of cars ran on gas.

Greetings!

Due to your response, AIA Canada recently completed a successful campaign to send out over 5,000 letters to MPs, urging them to support Private Members Bill C273, also known as the Right to Repair Act.

Although there's no way to guarantee the bill will become law, AIA Canada is still due congratulations for the way the campaign was run. Making it extremely easy to send letters to MPs meant a large response was virtually guaranteed. It's a model that could serve as an excellent tool for any group that wants its voice heard.

Audatex Enhances and Redesigns Online Training

Audatex North America has launched a redesign of its Online Training Center. This is the latest element of the company's accredited continuing education program. It allows students to earn I-CAR Points, attain continuing education units (CEUs), and get Audatex software training.

The Online Training Center is free to access and Audatex says it will help customers to fully leverage their Audatex software solutions. It is a one-stop resource for Audatex product reference guides, FAQs, self-paced computer-based training, and live virtual instructor-led training. Last year, it was accessed over a quarter million times.
