Did you Know...? By Mike Davey

Insufficient Postage: It took over 500,000 stamps to cover a VW Beetle being exhibited at an international stamp fair in Germany. That's still not enough to mail it.
All Dolled Up: Arlene Lambert of Toronto causes a stir whenever she goes for a drive. Her car is covered in hundreds of plastic dolls!

Greetings!
Collision repair has a reputation as being a recession proof business, and awhile back I asked if any of you had experienced a slow down or increase in the amount of work coming into your shop recently.
Quite a few shops were reporting an increase in business around the end of 2008. There's at least two factors encouraging this. Part of it is people trying to keep older vehicles on the road longer. However, heavier than usual snowfall across the country probably played a part as well. As the temperature heats up and the economy cools, let's hope we see more and more customers electing to get repairs done. Keep me posted. Mike Davey,Editor
