I'm a big fan of numbers, even if they don't have a dollar sign on one end and the words "Pay to the order of Mike Davey" on the other.

My favourite kind of numbers are the ones that outline current trends. It's one of the best ways to extrapolate the future. NACE 2008: Highlights and Insights

Las Vegas is known for getting a lot of tourists but a high percentage of visitors last week weren't there to gamble and see the sights. They came for Automotive Service and Repair Week.
 
For collision repairers, much of the action of Automotive Service and Repair Week could be found at the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE). Running November 5 - 8, NACE 2008 took place at Mandalay Bay Convention Centre.

Defining Moments: Most Influential Women of 2008
Five industry leaders were honoured at the tenth annual Most Influential Women in the Collision Repair Industry awards program held at the exceptional Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas on Thursday, November 6, 2008.

Judell Anderson, Minneapolis, Minnesota;  Denise Caspersen, Bedford, Texas;  Lillian Maimone, Monterey Park, California;  Gloria Mann, Thornhill, Ontario; and Rochelle Wicklund, Liberty, Missouri, were honored as the 2008 Most Influential Women in the Collision Repair Industry. Their careers represent the leadership and influence of women throughout the industry, including collision repair shops, industry associations, government, and publications.
