Acting as her own lawyer, she filed motions and at a trial, put the officer through a meticulous, 96-point cross-examination. The judge ruled against her and the state Supreme Court ordered her to pay the $100 ticket.

Audatex Virtual Classes Now Worth I-CAR Points

Audatex North America has become the first estimatics software provider in the automobile insurance claims industry to offer I-CAR points for virtual instructor-led training classes.

Students can now earn 0.25 I-CAR points for each of the following three virtual courses: Autosource - Basic Conditioning, Audatex Estimating - Understanding the Labor Database, and Audatex Estimating - Understanding the Refinish Database. Audatex will report student status back to I-CAR upon successful completion of each course.

Larry Steck Passes Away

Larry SteckIt is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Larry Steck. Larry passed away on the night of Friday October 17, 2008 from complications resulting from a recent heart surgery.
