The Future of I-CAR in Canada

I-CAR, the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, held its Canadian Annual Meeting on October 17, at the Hilton Montreal Airport in Dorval, QC.

The event began with an open inter-industry "Town Hall" meeting attended by approximately 100 industry professionals, at which the results of a market study sponsored by I-CAR and conducted by Creative Partners in Performance, Inc., of Toronto, were presented.

Latest Trends Under Discussion at CCIF Montreal


The Hilton Montréal Airport Hotel in Dorval, Que. played host to the latest meeting of the Canadian Collision industry Forum (CCIF) on Saturday, October 18th. Roughly 300 industry stakeholders joined in the discussion, making this one of the most heavily attended CCIF meetings ever.

Highlights included a presention on succession planning and the importance of planning your exit by Patrice Vachon of Fasken Martineau. Also, Guy Bessette of Fix Auto spoke on current trends in Europe and which ones we may see in Canada.

CSN Hits 60 Shops Milestone

Collision Solutions Network (CSN) has announced the newest members of the network, Chatham Kent Collision ~ CSN in Tilbury, Ont. (below right) and Ron MacGillivray Collision in Antigonish, Nova Scotia (below left). The new facilities means CSN has reached a new milestone, that of 60 members across Canada.
