Neil Anderson: 1954-2008
 
Neil AndersonNeil Anderson of Airdrie, AB, a well-respected figure in Canada's collision repair industry, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the age of 54 years.

Neil was the owner of Anderson Autobody Management Systems. His career in the Collision Repair Industry started in 1972 as a technician and he designed and presented management programs to the Collision Repair Industry since 1997.
 
He provided consultation services to varied clients in Canada and the USA since 1999 to over 30 satisfied customers. His background as an Educator for 13 years at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in the Auto Body Training Facility combined with 15 years experience as a technician, shop owner and insurance appraiser allowed him to deliver valid information based on real life events. His client list included Automotive Management Institute, Akzo Nobel, ASA, Alberta Adjusters Association, DuPont Performance Coatings and many more.

Neil will be lovingly remembered by his family: wife Geraldine of thirty-three years; daughter Lisa (Scott) Sweet and son Layne (Deirdre) Anderson; grandchildren, Carter, Austin and Adelynn; his mother Evelyn and mother and father-in-law, Lorna and Earl Jones. Neil was predeceased by his father Albert E. Anderson. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Town & Country Centre, 275 Jensen Drive N.E., Airdrie, AB on Friday, February 1, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to STARS, Box 570, 1441 Aviation Park N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 8M7.
