 IPFone has created the first Broadsoft enable calling application for iPhone.
Now you can integrate your Hosted Phone System into your IPhone device. By doing so, you will be able to make and receive calls over 3G or WiFi connection. Since these calls utilize a 3G or WiFi connection, users can save money on local and long distance cellular calls.
Essentially, this application extends all the features of the Enterprise Hosted PBX or Phone System out to mobile employees carrying smartphones. Even when on the move, IPhone users with this software will remain in the Hosted PBX and continue to be an endpoint in the phone system. This will enable them to be viewed by the phone system as a desktop phone or soft client. Once authenticated, the user has access to the full range of features: extension dialing, directory services, blacklisting of calls, forwarding, and more. It's exactly as if you're carrying your desktop phone.
