The time for silent suffering, frustration at the lack of understanding, and anger at the shortage of knowledgeable treatment providers to end. Only by talking about hair pulling and skin picking can we bring this disorder out of the shadows and help millions to realize that they are alone. Here are a few simple ways you can make your voice heard: 1. Change your email signature Educate everyone that receives an email from you: change your email signature to let people know that silent suffering is unnecessary! Read this PDF for instructions on how to change your email signature to help support TLC's mission. 2. Post this Public Service Announcement (PSA) to your Facebook, website, or share the link with your email address book. Change your Facebook status During Trich Awareness Week, change your Facebook status to read: Don't suffer alone. Change your Facebook profile picture Right-click the image on the left, and select "Save as..." Save the file to your computer. Then, log-in to your Facebook account and upload the image to your profile pic. Set this image as your default profile pic during Trich Awareness Week, so you can help spread the word about trich and skin picking.
