"Credit Card Flowers"
Online Workshop Re-released
Some of you I am sure took the wonderful "21 Secrets" Workshop for 2012. It was jam-packed with 21 artists showing you how to create 21 creative fun things. I was very excited to be a part of that workshop offering but the registration is over for that workshop now and rather than just let "Credit Card Flowers" retire I thought I would ask Gail from Creative Workshops if she would like to offer it there.
So, again if you missed it before you will still have to opportunity to take it.
It starts November 5th.
Here is a little sneak peak.
It's really lots of fun to create these flowers. I provide you with the patterns to cut your credit card or key card and you probably have acrylic paint already in your studio. Just make sure you have a green for the leaves and stems. For the flower pedals I used some pink, red, orange, yellow and blue. Any colors in any brand will do.
You can relax and view the videos at your leisure
because there is no end date. When the time draws closer I will do a giveaway on my blog so stay tuned.

COLOR CHARTS FINISHED!
I finished the color charts that I started about a month ago! I can't tell you how much I learned by doing them. After I got into the rhythm of it I really enjoyed it and was sorry it was over. I will surely refer to them many times in my painting journey. I used cad (cadmium) lemon, cad yellow light, cad yellow deep, yellow ochre, cad red, terra rosa, transparent oxide red, alizarin crimson, viridian, cobalt blue and ultramarine blue. Beautiful colors making beautiful colors! Just a quick note about the clear sleeve I put them in for protection. I got the sleeves from a site I have used for years called Clear Envelopes.I use them to protect art and prints. They have many different sizes. ___________________________________ POSSIBLE NEW WORKSHOP COMING--hummmm... I have been thinking about filming a new workshop (with my new camera!) on the making of this big Grid Journal. Here is a sample page. If you click on the image it will take you to a few more images on my web site blog. These pages are really fun to create and I try to use all the supplies I have. Makes me happy to use some of the ones that don't get used very often! So until next time...
