On Saturday July 7th, Van Isle Water held its annual BBQ at Goldstream Park.

The Staff and Families of Van Isle Water were treated to a sumptuous BBQ that included steak, chicken and salmon with all the sides plus dessert....
But this was merely the calm before the storm.

 

What started as a wholesome family get together soon escalated into a ferocious game of Full-Contact No-Holds-Barred Aussie Rules Pool Noodle Hockey.

The Competition was Fierce, The STEAKS were High 

With the Help of the Memphis Gill our BBQ Athletes AKA The North Memphis All-Stars were in RARE form, coming in 5th overall at the Nanaimo BBQ Festival.

Our best showing was 3rd place in the Brisket category where we SMOKED the competition with our culinary feats of strength. Thanks to all who supported us and participated. WELL DONE!
