Van Isle Water Turns 40!Hosts Fundraiser for International Clean Water Initiative
|
 Van Isle Water is turning 40 this year, and to commemorate this milestone we are hosting a public birthday party and fundraiser during the week of May 7th - 12th at our storefront located at 461 Dupplin Road. We are serving up cake, accepting donations and raising awareness on behalf of Ryan's Well Foundation, a Canadian organization dedicated to providing access to clean water around the world. We will also donate forty cents from every invoice for the whole month of May to this important cause.

WHAT'S THAT SMELL?

On a winter vacation in Mexico Jeff Irvine, President of VAN ISLE WATER, was awakened one morning to the mouth watering aroma of smoky bacon. Later that same day after a restful siesta he was greeted by the sweet scent of fresh baked apple pie. Now curious, he started sniffing around and noticed the neighbors had moved in with their very own shiny stainless steel "Memphis Grill". These folks had brought this grill with them in the back of their van all the way from Minnesota to Puerto Vallarta.
 Over the next two weeks, after watching this grill smoke ribs or a brisket for 12 hours in smoker mode, baking muffins and cookies in convection mode or searing a thick rib eye steak at 700 degrees, Jeff realized this was no ordinary BBQ.
As food was shared and friendships were forged Jeff got to know more about the 3-in-1 "Memphis Grill". With a nose for opportunity Jeff Irvine, sniffed out a winner.
