2011 AAM Hall of Fame Inductee: Marsha Leest

  

Marsha Leest, consultant at Marsha Leest Consulting, was honoured as the 2011 AAM Hall of Fame Inductee at the Association for Accounting Summit in Chicago, Illinois. 

 

During our Capstone Conversation Marsha shared her thoughts about the challenges of marketing CPA firms, the value of personal marketing plans, and advice for partners and marketers. 

  

What are the biggest changes that you've noticed in accounting marketing over the past 10 years? 

 

Marsha Leest:  I'm very happy to say that I've noticed that marketing is being taken more seriously and firms of every size recognize the importance of marketing.  They need to do it at whatever level suits their budget and culture, but regardless, they need to market in order to remain relevant in the marketplace.
