 Greetings!
October left us the same way it arrived, beautiful weather and lots of cycling fun. Breakaway Bicycles participated in Parent Magazine's Family Fitness Festival by cheering on runners and little ones plus giving away a bike trailer to one lucky participant! Mike and I were able to steal a few days of our own and hit Santos Trails in Ocala. The trails were fast, the crashes amusing, and we had an amazing day.
As November begins we have many new things to share with all our friends. Check out Santa's Attic, Red Bag Days, Winter Park's Bike Rodeo and much more on our online event calendar and website! Breakaway Bicycles will also be participating in Winter Park's "Ye Olde Hometown" Christmas Parade on December 3! Marin Stelvio Dura-Ace Reviewed!
 Since redesigning the Stelvio road line for 2011, the new frame with Tube to Tube (T3) carbon construction has been tearing up crits and road races around the country. ROAD Magazine got their hands on the top-tier Stelvio Dura-Ace for a test. They loved the quick acceleration, stiffness, and low, sub 15lb weight of the bike.

Come lasso up some good times at the Bicycle Rodeo presented by the City of Winter Park Pedestrian & Bicycle Advisory Board. Learn valuable cycling safety tips, take a ride through the bicycle safety course, jump around bounce houses, pet reptiles with Zoo Mom Science, get a Kid ID and a whole lot more! We look forward to seeing you there!

to participate in the campaign. American Express card members can register their card for a $25 statement credit if they shop on Small Business Saturday at a locally-owned, independent small business that accepts American Express.
Winter Park Christmas Parade
9am-10am
The 59th Annual Winter Park "Ye Olde Hometown" Christmas Parade, Central Florida's longest running Christmas Parade, will continue its tradition of marching down historic Park Avenue spreading holiday cheer in downtown Winter Park. More than 100 bands, dance troupes, floats, local dignitaries and, of course, Santa Claus, will delight the young and young-at-heart.
Hop on your bike and let's hit the streets of Winter Park! We are scoping out some of the best Christmas lights in Winter Park and designing a ride just for you! This will be a relaxed paced evening ride. Then we will finish up at one of Winter Park's local eateries! Can't wait to share the holiday cheer with you! Lights are required for this ride. Date TBD, stay tuned!
