September arrived with a few teaser days of cool weather to be followed by our normal hot and humid Florida weather. Our monthly Movie in the Gardens as well as our Winter Park Wander was enjoyed with new and old friends and many laughs. Check our facebook and website for this month's events!
The sultry summer nights quickly ended on the first of October with cooling relief! We celebrated this much anticipated weather at Parent Magazine's Family Fit Festival and 5k run by giving away a bicycle trailer/Jogger to one lucky family! Congratulations to everyone who participated in the event and we hope to see you at our Family Night & Ghost stories on October 28.

 Santa's Attic Growing up, part of the fun of Christmas was seeing if we could find our gifts before Christmas morning! Yes, that's terrible I know, but it didn't diminish the fun of the search. In all likelihood, I think my parents enjoyed the task of outwitting my siblings and I year after year. I even remember my dad booby trapping his closet door to ensure we didn't find anything out before Christmas morning.

Breakaway to Korea One of my recent travels found me in South Korea. It hadn't been at the top of my list of countries I wanted to visit; however, once there, I quickly changed my mind. The country was beautiful, the people wonderful, and the taxi drivers drove like formula one racers. I even had the opportunity to see a public city bus perform a controlled, four wheel slide around a corner, and it was truly amazing. As always, I sent Erin a picture of a bicycle that is now voted our favorite foreign bicycle thus far. It just goes to show, new exeriences breed new avenues of enjoyment. Come by and test ride something new. The experience may show you enjoyment you've been missing. |
