Let us tell you about one of our art-reproduction clients, Martha Hooks, of TeaHouse Artworks, Wilsonville, Alabama - and frequently Key West, Florida.  Besides being the nicest person (a True Southern Lady), Martha has successfully handled award-winning Long Coat Chihuahuas in the show ring.  She takes her passion for these toy breeds to canvas - where she does portraits of her own dogs, and other pet owners, and/or their dogs.   She is very devoted when it comes to her favorite subjects, who - in her own words - "wear fur coats, year around." Here's an example of her enterprising efforts on their behalf:

Martha wanted to use her painting talent to raise money for a cause near and dear to her heart: Japanese Chin Care & Rescue Effort. Their mission, as an all volunteer, non-profit dog rescue organization, is to help rehabilitate and find homes for abused, abandoned, or relinquished Japanese Chin across the United States of America. The organization was happy to have Martha's help - especially since she was not interested in making one-penny profit for herself.

With her singular goal in mind (to assist JCCare) Martha was delighted to receive the Color Simulation Service, Easter 2012, 50% Off Set-Up Fees Promotion. The timing was perfect and Martha readily took advantage: She sent us five perfectly delightful paintings featuring Japanese Chin & Long Coat Chihuahuas in various picturesque settings & portrait stances - with clever titles like "Where the Wild Wasabi & Ginger Grow."

We took her original paintings and turned them into digital files ("set them up") and then produced Stretched Canvas Giclee Prints, Fine Art Paper Matte Prints, Matted Card Stock Prints & 5x7 Boxed Note Card Sets.  Selected items were dropped-shipped directly to JCCare with the understanding that the organization will reimburse  Martha for her "production costs."  These art reproduction products, based on Martha's fine paintings of Chin, were recently featured in the Japanese Chin Club of America's 100th Anniversary Show in Missouri - and will become part of its on-going efforts to raise money to support their mission.

Congratulations Martha !!
