College Readiness Conference April 13, 2011 - Registration Now Available
The program for the conference, "Pathways to College Readiness and College Success," is currently being finalized. This one-day event will bring together secondary and post-secondary faculty and administrators to talk about the transition from high school to college, the changing environment in which MA public education operates, and how to set more students on the path to success in college. This conference will be relevant to anyone involved in public education: college faculty, K-12 educators, guidance counselors, academic support specialists and advisors, superintendents, principals, Math, Science, and Language Arts coordinators, and education policy makers. Sessions will include discussions of national and statewide trends, trainings on the Common Core in Math and English, collegial conversations between secondary and postsecondary educators on gaps between high school and college expectations, and a showcase of ambitious innovations.
There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. PDPs are available. You can preview the conference agenda and register here through the event website. |
