Greetings!
Wow...things are kicking into high gear! USAi hosts Mayor's Latino Cup 2012 this weekend at NWW. Please come by and volunteer to help and watch some games. USAi Travel teams are training for the team's first games in August. 1000 families are registering to play recreational and rec plus soccer in your local community. Please register on line today or visit 1 of several walk up in person registrations. USAi hosts a Ref Clinic August 11-12. All ages 14 to adult are welcome to become a licensed Ref and begin to ref games this fall.
Dan Kapsalis accepted Carmel United Soccer Club's offer to become its Director of Coaching this week. We wish Dan well and much success. Your USAi Board of Directors is always working to meet the leadership needs of the organization going forward. There are literally scores of great volunteers supplemented by a terrific staff managing United Soccer Alliance of Indiana. If you've any questions about the upcoming travel season, please contact your child's coach or USAi Interim Soccer Director Will Pfaffenberger.
In addition to your child's Head Coach and Team Manager/Parent, there are a great many additional USAi resources at service to you and your player including Vince Ganzberg, USAi Technical Director; Great goal keeper coaches include Brad Menzel, Toby Duarte, Matt Reiswerg, Stephen Bushre. Ken Snow is USAi's Striker Coach. Coach Jr. Miranda will train players in addition to Head Coach of the u8-u9 travel boys. USAi Ref course August 11-12, space limited
| USAi hosts a Grade 8 USSF Referee Course on August 11-12, 2012. You must be at least 14 years of age to sign up for this course. Adults welcome. This course enables the referee to work recreational and travel soccer games and provides a detailed look into the rules of soccer. This class should be taken by any Grade 9s looking to upgrade their license as well as those who have a good knowledge of the rules already.
