You and your family are invited to participate in Mayor Greg Ballard's fourth annual Mayor's Latino Soccer Cup, presented by Pepsi. This is 2 days of soccer fun, organized by Mayor Ballard's Office of Latino Affairs, Community Through Youth Sport Foundation, and United Soccer Alliance of Indiana. Our main goal is to increase Latino civic engagement and generate better understanding of Hispanic culture citywide....and to have fun playing futbol-soccer!
The entire event include soccer is free for boys and girls. Teams are organized by 5-6 year olds, 7-8 year olds, 9-10 year olds, 11-12 year olds, and 13-18 year olds. Form your own team or we can find a team for you. Adult teams 18+ teams pay $200 registration with up to a $1000 cash prize.
The Mayor's Latino Soccer Cup 2012, through healthy competition, will utilize sports as a means of integration among the Indianapolis Latino community. IMPD Mounted horse unit will attend on Saturday for a few hours. Come by and see the horses.
