Greetings!
"Hot town, summer in the city
Back of my neck getting burnt and gritty.
...isn't it a pity
Doesn't seem to be a shadow in the city" August 1966
All outdoor USAi activities are suspended today due to heat index.
USAi 3v3 tournament this week was a record breaking day of fun. Special thanks to adidas reps who outfitted USAi teams in new adidas MLS replica uniforms! (Same uniforms that will be worn by USAi Rec and Rec Plus players.)
USAi hosts a Goal Scoring camp; other club news below.
All teams are to take a break during July.
USAi Outreach was represented at IMPD Community Day and Latino Expo this week and will be at Hendricks County Rib Fest and will march in the Brownsburg 4th of July Parade. Come join us. Register on the Volunteer page to march in the parade (and throw candy to the crowds). Great community involvement by the families of USAi.
It's time to register for USAi Community Rec and Rec Plus Programs in Pike and in Hendricks.
USAi Community Rec Program offers 2 programs: one based in Avon-Brownsburg and the second in Pike Township. We plan divisions for Soccer Tots, u5, u6, u7, u8, u10, and u12. The u10 and u12 programs may play some games at "home" and some games "away" at another USAi soccer complex. Registration open.
USAi Community REC PLUS Program offers 2 programs: one based in Avon-Brownsburg and the second in Pike Township with all teams playing in the local WCSSF Rec Plus league. There will be divisions for u13-u18. Rec Plus is truly its own level of competition. It is not Rec and is not "Travel." It's competitive yet without the time and financial commitment of "classic travel" teams.
I hope you will register your children soon to take the early bird discount. Will you also please help spread the work to all your friends and neighbors to register on line (or at 1 of the upcoming in person registrations)? There is no experience necessary for your child to play ANY AGE of Rec or Rec Plus soccer. There is also no experience necessary to volunteer to help coach your child's team as USAi provides the best coaching education program in Indiana with 3 licensed certified instructors on staff.
