6/1/12

Greetings!

Open recruiting begins today for travel tryouts for children ages 7 by 8/1/12 to 18.

Rules allows for any of us...players, parents, coaches, managers, administrators...to actively recruit talented players to USAi by inviting them to your tryouts (and after tryouts by asking them to call your coach).  Will you please contact all soccer families in your contacts as well as at your child's school, on your child's school team, and your child's soccer friends, especially at other travel clubs?

USAi has a good competitive team with a good coach for every skilled player. We're prepared to form additional teams with good coaches if more players than expected register (before tryouts) or show up at tryouts.

Here are the main advantages you enjoy as USAi Travel members:

1.     Good competitive team with a good coach that trains at your local complex.  Most players on most teams will return most times with the same coach.  Just as there was a good team for your child based at each club's fields before the alliance, there will be a good team for your child, based in either Avon/Brownsburg or Pike.

2.     "Who is the coach and is he/she a good coach?"  USAi has great coaches....it should as the coaches are the same Fusion and Indy Burn coaches!  See who will coach which team here:   http://unitedsoccerallianceindiana.org/coaching/coaching-staff

3.      "Is the team going to be competitive?  Yes. With a joint tryout each team should play at even more competitive level than before.  USAi is likely to form even stronger Premier teams.

Here are the main great benefits of working together to form the most competitive teams with the best fit coach (and best fit players and best fit parents!)...and talking points that you may want to use to invite others:

  • Great Coaching Staff - Supplemented with in-house coach training from Vince Ganzberg, former Indiana Soccer Director of Coach Education and Player Development, Isang Jacob, Head IUPUI Coach, and Jr. Miranda, USAi Technical Coach.
  • Competitive teams formed for each age in Hendricks County and Pike Township.
  • Formal player development track; including coach and player assessments.
  • Top premier teams will be formed from top level players from Fusion, Indy Burn, and other local clubs.
  • Great technical training for specialty positions, including goal keeping and strikers - All-time NCAA lead scorer Ken Snow offers "USAi Finishing School."
  • Great facilities in Avon, Brownsburg, Eagle Creek Park and Northwestway Park.
  • Great soccer families like yours.

See you at tryouts.  Remember all current u7 and u8 players invited to early U9 travel team formation next week.
