Dear Player and Parents,
As we approach tryouts, I understand the combination of excitement and nervousness...for both you and your child! One frequently asked question we hear is "Is my team going to stay together?" Generally, the answer is yes. Imagine that USAi merges with a club 50 miles away. It would be logical that the top players from the merging clubs, along with some top players from other clubs, would come together to form Premier teams. The remaining teams from each club would remain where they are and train at their home field. Even though Avon, Brownsburg and Pike Township are much closer geographically, we intend to follow this same concept. Further, if we have entire teams that want to stay together, we will make every attempt to make that happen.
If you wish to help recruit players to our club, you may do so after June 1. Some talking points that you may want to use are:
- Great Coaching Staff - Supplemented with in-house coach training and National licensing from Vince Ganzberg, former Indiana Soccer Director of Coach Education and Player Development.
- Competitive teams formed for each age in Hendricks County and Pike Township.
- Formal player development track; including coach and player assessments.
- Top premier teams will be formed from top level players from Fusion, Indy Burn, and other local clubs.
- Great technical training for specialty positions, including goal keeping and strikers - All-time NCAA lead scorer Ken Snow offers "USAi Finishing School."
- Great facilities.
- Great soccer families like yours.
Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.
