Greetings!
Registration for the 2012-2013 USAi Travel Tryouts is now open. You, your team mates, neighbors, school mates, and friends are invited to join a USAi U8-U19 competitive team for the 2012-2013 soccer year. USAi's philosophy of player development and great coaching works. As each player improves at his/her own pace, the team meets with success.
We anticipate having 4 or more teams per age group and sex. The level of teams will range from the premier level to those just starting out in travel soccer. You can view the expected number of teams for 2012-2013 with an anticipated coaching assignment: http://unitedsoccerallianceindiana.org/travel/teams.
Of course, which teams are actually formed and the final coach assignment is completely subject to the results of tryouts. Please note many coaches are continuing with their current team and some will remain experts within their current age group. Each age group will have a team that trains at your local complex. It will all work out just fine. Please feel free to contact your child's coach, any Director, Coach Will, or me at anytime if you have questions or suggestions on how we can improve the USAi soccer experience for your child.
I was thinking today about just how remarkable it is that USAi boasts 5 professionals as alumni! As you know it is very rare for someone to become a pro. There are only a handful of pros that played in Indiana....and 5 of them played here. Remarkable.

How will Travel Tryouts be run?
| In order to form the most competitive teams we can with the talent selected, all players in an age group will tryout together. Coaches will select players based on ability. USAi will form as many teams as necessary to accommodate every skilled player. USAi is able to create more teams competing at the highest level, with the best caliber coaches. |
Where will my travel team practice? | Most age groups will have 3 or more teams and there will be a team that trains at your local complex. Once each team's roster is complete and based upon several criteria, including space, the coach's preference, and a zip code study of the families, the team's training sessions will be scheduled based on the best match. It may be possible that premier teams could train one day at the Avon Soccer Complex or Brownsburg Soccer Complex and another day at Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex or Northwestway Park. |
