There is a great deal of activity during the winter including PSC's Community Soccer Day in Deer Run school gym, indoor training for Indy Burn players and Free Fun Futsal for Rec U7-U12 players as well as indoor coach training for all coaches.  Please check below or visit the website for information about these activities and to register for Spring for your player and coach training.

Need you to help spread the good news about Pike Soccer Club Spring registration for all Rec players 4-18 years.  Time to register your children and please let your friends, neighbors and school mates to register for soccer fun now.

Pike Soccer Club Players Drafted in MLS SuperDraft

Pike Youth Soccer Club-Indy Burn (PSC), an Indianapolis Department of Parks and Recreation partner, announced 2 former club players drafted in the 2012 Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft Thursday (1/12/12) afternoon. Matt Hedges was selected as the 11th pick overall and drafted by FC Dallas professional soccer team! Raymon Gaddis was selected in the second round (35th overall) by the Philadelphia Union pro team.

Ray visited Indy Burn players during indoor training 1/18/12, signed autographs and posed for team pictures.  Thanks Ray and best of luck to Matt and Ray as they begin this next stage in their lives. 

Paper Retriever at Northwestway Park

Do you recycle? If you need a convenient location to drop off your recyclables, please consider Northwestway Park, West 62nd & Moller. The containers are always available year round at the front entrance to the Park. The paper vendor rebates some of the proceeds back to NWW Park. Typically at NWW Park over 100 tons of materials are collected. For every ton of paper recycled, we can save 17 trees and 7000 gallons of water.

Rec PlayersRegister now for PSC Community Recreation soccer including Tots, U5-U12 Rec and U13-U18 Rec Plus. PSC Tots, U5-U12 are small sided teams. U13-U14 teams are same sex, play 11v11, and the U15-U18 teams are coed, play 11v11.

PSC Rec Plus is for U13-U14 (same sex) and High School players U15-U18 (coed).  Register early as teams form and league plays begins EARLIER than in house Rec League.

This event is to invite non PSC players to play for free and then register to play Spring season.  Please tell all your friends and neighbors and school mates to attend.
Boys: February 11, 2012
Girls: February 18, 2012
Location: Deer Run Elementary School 5401 North High School Rd
Indianapolis, 46254
Bring the kids to play for an hour.  All children invited.  Bring a couple friends.  Staggered start times; arrive anytime in the first hour of each 2 hour session.
5-6 year olds: 9am-11am
7-8 year olds: 11a-1pm
9-10 year olds: 1p-3p
11-14 year olds: 3p-5pm
Play in two small sided soccer games with free footskill training session.
No experience necessary: all children invited.
(For rookies and Rec players. No travel players.)

Each coach to schedule the team's regular weekly training at Northwestway Park for an hour between 5:30p-7:30pm. There will be PSC staff available to help with training sessions including Vince Ganzberg, Dan Kapsalis, Lead Coaches, Indy Burn Coaches. Teams are strongly encouraged to hold team training at NWW on these days.
