Greetings!

"All the leaves are brown..."  Well, not yet.  Fall soccer is well under way with thousands of children and families enjoying youth soccer in the Parks.  We're glad you're part of the Pike Soccer Club community.

If your employer campaign is underway, please consider donating to PSC by simply writing "Pike Youth Soccer Club" on your pledge card to help PSC Tuition Assistance Fund for families in need or field care.

There were record numbers during the 18 PSC Community Recreation Academy U5-U12 outdoor training sessions.  These training sessions insure each Rec player is off to a great start to the season.  Thanks to coaches and Vince Ganzberg, PSC's Community Recreation Technical Director.  Vince Ganzberg and PSC Soccer Director Dan Kapsalis are 2 of the best youth soccer trainers in Indiana.

PYSC's Annual Meeting is November 14th and you're invited to attend, to volunteer on a Board Committee or run for election to the Board.  Expect to hear from PSC Nominating Committee via email.  Volunteers are needed to run the "Rec" program, especially during games.  If you speak both English and Spanish, we need you to help welcome our Spanish language only families during games.  Sign up on line for a fun hour of service to the community before your child's game.  It's fast, easy and fun: http://www.pikeyouthsoccerclub.org/volunteer.html

Thanks to PSC Community Recreation sponsor Land O' Frost.  Have you registered for free lunch meat from PSC's premier sponsor, Land 'O Frost??  We need every parent to register (see below) to get a coupon for free product at local supermarket.  It's very important that you register so our sponsor hears from us.  Land 'O Frost sponsorship reduces cost for your child to play PSC.

Follow PSC on Twitter and Facebook and tell your Twitter and Facebook friends.  The number of visits to PSC pages has skyrocketed this season.  If you'd like to help post news, please volunteer by sending an email to Thomas Geisse.

Change a Child's Life

Change a child's life: donate to Community Through Youth Sport Foundation-Pike Youth Soccer Club. Donations are tax deductible and are needed to bring the gap between player paid fees and operating costs.  Change a child's life, donate to Pike Soccer Club for Tuition Assistance Fund, New Fields, or General Funds

Three easy ways to donate now to Pike Soccer Club (501c3) Tuition Assistance Fund, New Fields, or General Funds.
1. Use credit card via secure web site.
2. Mail check and pledge card to Pike Soccer Club, PO Box 532472, Indianapolis, IN 46253.
3. Direct your employer's Campaign donation to PSC. You may direct all or part of your donation to PSC by designating "PIKE YOUTH SOCCER CLUB" on your pledge or donor card.

Has your employer work place CAMPAIGN begun?

If you complete a pledge form, e-pledge, or donor card at work: you may direct all or part of your donation to Pike Youth Soccer Club by designating "PIKE YOUTH SOCCER CLUB" on the donor or pledge card. You do not need the "number" as such numbers often change and your company may have an unique number. Please check if your employer will match your contribution to the company Campaign. If so, please make arrangements with your HR department or contact your Campaign coordinator. Companies with workplace campaigns typically ask their employees to contribute through pledge forms or e-pledge so that each employee's contribution counts with their company campaign. All money donated to Pike Soccer Club via employer campaigns goes to player scholarships or field development, unless otherwise designated by donor.

Pike Youth Soccer Club, Inc., is a 501(c)3 not for profit. Your contribution is tax deductible.

Pike Soccer Club & Indy Burn To Passback

passback

Are your closets filled with old cleats, shin guards and uniforms? Donate them to people in need!Your gently used equipment, which may include cleats, shin guards, balls, uniforms, including Indy Burn uniforms and jerseys, etc., may help someone else play for the first time! Referee uniforms and equipment are also most welcome.  PSC sent several dozen uniforms to children in South America this week.  Look for the plastic tub at the MJGSC snack bar and drop off your Passback donations.

Land o Frost

Message from our valued sponsor:

Look for your free coupon with your pictures or at the snack bar.  Free gift, coupons, free product.  We really NEED PSC members to register with Land O' Frost lunch meats asap to show our support of this valued partner.  Land O' Frost's support reduces the cost for your child to play by $10!

Land O' Frost lunch meats, Pike Soccer Club's Platinum sponsor, wants to make a stronger effort to better communicate and be more closely involved with Pike Soccer Club parents and the children wearing Land O' Frost jerseys. LOF will send you special savings opportunities along with promotional announcements primarily via mail.
The initial mailing will include a coupon for a free package of lunchmeat, followed by cents-off coupons throughout the year. Special offers will also include a yearly gift for each child whose parent has signed up for inclusion in this program. This special link (above) takes you to Land O' Frost and asks for your name, address, and please enter Pike Soccer Club's name.  Land O' Frost absolutely will not share this information with any other company or party. It is solely for LOF's purpose of building stronger relationships directly with the leagues and parents of the children they support. PSC offers you the opportunity to opt out of the Spring 2011 LOF mailing.
