Has your player ever played in a "3v3 tournament?" PSC's 3v3 event is this Saturday, June 18 at Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex. This is fun day at the Park for the family and players of all skill levels and ages. All you need do is lineup 4 friends, form and register a team TODAY. All levels and all ages accepted. Rec teams play rec teams. Travel teams play travel teams. Registration closes today June 13th at Midnight.
Thank you for a great Spring 2011 season! We hosted the last travel game Sunday night and tryouts begin Tuesday! Community Rec and Rec Plus registration is open for the Fall season. Remember the Rec Plus u13-u18 league begins in August so teenagers need to sign up earlier than the children u4-u12.

You, your team mates, neighbors, school mates, and friends are invited to join an Indy Burn U8-U19 competitive team for the coming soccer year. Indy Burn's philosophy of player development and great coaching works. As each player improves at his/her own pace, the team meets with success.
Some of the great coaches at Pike Soccer Club include Vince Ganzberg, former Director of Coaching for state of Indiana; John Creighton, former Indianapolis Coach of the Year from Covenant Christian High School;Bashir Birany, took Zionsville High School to state championship is Coach of '97 Boys Premier team (U15 Spring 2012). Theron Smith, former ten year veteran coach for Pike High School Men; Rob Jordan, 24 year veteran coach for Pike High School, now Zionsville High School; Warner Moses of Pike High School Women's; Idowu Ikudabo, Marion High School Girls coach, Indiana ODP Staff Coach; Steve Weiger, former Professional Player and Butler University All-American and Hall of Fame; under the direction of Dan Kapsalis, PSC Soccer Director.

Tryout Dates & Times (for 2011-2012 age groups)
Tuesday, June 14, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., U8-U19 (attend both sessions) Wednesday, June 15, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., U11-U19 (attend both sessions) Thursday, June 16, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., call out all ages / sex U8-U19 for those players still looking for a 2011-2012 travel team. Tryouts at Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex. All players must register online before the first session attended. Players may arrive up to a half hour early to check in and receive FREE Indy Burn training T-shirt.

Play 3v3 Live at PSC! June 18, 2011 Registration Closes June 13th at Midnight

Pike Soccer Club hosts 3v3 Live Soccer Tour, June 18, 2011, Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex. Form your own team. PSC 3v3 Live is a one-day tournament open to teams ages U6 to Adult and both recreational and competitive skill levels. Teams may register up to 6 players. $180 per team includes at least 4 games, all fees (referees) and a t-shirt for each player. The top 3 teams in each division receive a custom medal and an invitation to the 3v3 Live Regional Final. A top performance at Regionals qualifies your team to compete at the 2011 3v3 Live Winter National Finals 2012.

Volunteers Needed for Pike Soccer Club 3v3 Live

Pike Soccer Club 3v3 Live Tour is a one day soccer tournament on Saturday, June 18 at the Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex. We need volunteer assistance from the Rec, PSC Rec Plus and Indy Burn programs. Shifts are in two and half hour blocks.
We have a need for volunteers for the following duties: Concession / Snack Bar - sell snack bar items - 4 volunteers needed per shift Team Check-In - check-in teams morning of tournament - 2 volunteers needed per shift (one shift only) Field Preparation - setup fields for play - line fields - 6 volunteers needed per shift (two shifts on Thursday, June 16) Volunteer Floaters - work areas as needed - 2 volunteers per shift

Congratulations Indy Burn '92 Boys Premier Finalist Indiana State Cup in a hard fought battle Sunday 6/12 against Indiana Invaders. Indy Burn '92 Boys Premier (U19) defeated FC Pride 92 Elite 4-3 in the semifinals on Saturday to advance to the Finals. They fell 2-0 in the finals to Indiana Invaders '92 Boys.

| Butler Boys Soccer Camp 2011 | Advertisement: Pike Soccer Club players invited to Butler summer day camp. Butler University Men's Soccer program hosts several summer day camps where players from all over Indiana attend. The camp is lead by a quality coaching staff consisting of high school, club, and college coaches from all over the state. Each year the camp has continued to grow because of the fun environment, good curriculum, and quality staff that helps provide an ideal environment for young aspiring players. The Butler University Men's Soccer program has been one of the elite programs in Div I soccer over the last several years achieving unprecedented success in 2010 with an undefeated regular season, a top #10 National Ranking, A Horizon League Championship, and 2 All-American Selections. Along with the on field success the team also achieved great success in the classroom with an overall 3.3 team GPA.

Are your closets filled with old cleats, shin guards and uniforms? Donate them to people in need!Your gently used equipment, which may include cleats, shin guards, balls, uniforms, including Indy Burn uniforms and jerseys, etc., may help someone else play for the first time! Referee uniforms and equipment are also most welcome. PSC sent several dozen uniforms to children in South America this week. Look for the plastic tub at the MJGSC snack bar and drop off your Passback donations. |
