First of all, thanks for refereeing at Pike Soccer Club/Indy Burn this spring.  We had a great start this past weekend and we are looking forward to another great weekend.  I want to remind you of a couple of points and mention some open games this weekend that we need help filling.

• Remember for U7/U8 games, we should be running off of 1 clock so we start and stop the dual fields at the same time.
• For all Rec ages, we want the players to learn and you can help them.  If they make a bad throw-in, explain it to them.  It doesn't have to be long (ex.  "Make sure to keep your feet on the ground") and then allow them to retake the throw-in.  As referees, it always helps the younger players when you are able to help them.  
• For U10/U12, try to encourage subs to enter at the midfield. You can mention this to the coach before the game.

I will have more helpful hints later but for now, here are the games (in yellow) we need help filling this weekend.  If you can help, please reply to Brian at recreferees@pikesoccerclub.org as soon as possible.  The most critical game are the U12 center at 10AM.  If you are an experienced Jr. Referee, please contact us about the U7/U8 games.
