Registration for Community Recreation Spring season continues with an in person registration event Monday.  Will you please forward this email to a couple of your friends and neighbors to invite their children to register Monday before late fees begin?  Registration info is listed below.  (PSC accepts all players 3 to 12 years old.  Unfortunately, there are only 7 more roster spots open for high school players, 7 for U13-U14 girls, and 10 for U13-U14 boys.)

 

PLEASE tell your friends and neighbors to register for fun soccer for children ages 3 to 19.  In person registration Monday at NWW Park.  PSC has the best fields and all coaches are trained and back ground checked.  If your child's school or church would like to bring an entire team over to play, we will welcome them.  Contact PSC Soccer Director Dan Kapsalis.  

First Coach Risk Management course is Tuesday 3/22.  See below.

 

Family field day is on Saturday 3/26/11.  Sign up on line or just come by Saturday, March 26 - MJGSC South (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.).  

 

PSC's first spring travel tournament has twice the number of teams as earlier expected.  Everyone needs to help to take good care of our guests.  The Indy Burn Kapsalis Cup in April, 2011, will have nearly a $1 million economic impact on Indianapolis.

Registrations for Pike Soccer Club 3v3 Live June tournament is now open.  This is fun day at the Park for the family.  All you need do is lineup 4 friends, form and register a team.  All levels and all ages accepted.  Rec teams play rec teams.  Travel teams play travel teams.

Register now for U4 Tots, U5-U12 Spring 2011 Rec League or U13-U18 PSC Rec Plus League.PSC Tots, U5-U12 are small sided teams. U13-U14 teams are same sex, play 11v11, and the U15-U18 teams are coed, play 11v11.

PSC Rec Plus is for U13-U14 (same sex) and High School players U15-U18 (coed). This is the one division where teams literally sell out each season.  Register now to ensure your spot on the team.

Each season Pike Soccer Club needs volunteer help in getting the fields ready for seasonal play and Indy Burn Kapsalis Cup. The dates for the Indy Burn and PSC Rec Plus field days has been set.

Tryouts to place at Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex.
All players must register online before the first session attended.
Players may arrive up to a half hour early to check in and receive FREE Indy Burn training T-shirt.
Spring 2011 Community Rec Referee Draft Tuesday, April 12

Want to Ref PSC U5 and U6 games? Become a PSC Junior Ref.
PSC Junior Referee sign-up and Training Session is for those who are not licensed referees but would like to begin to ref. Meet Tuesday, April 12, 7:00 p.m. sharp, at Small Blessings. There is a brief training session prior to sign ups. Junior Referees should bring a copy of their own (player) schedule and the PSC game schedule (also available at the meeting). The PSC Game Schedule is posted on PSC website referee page no later than Sunday evening April 10. Please contact Bill Walters with questions at. Also email Bill Walters with additional games you wish to ref.

 

Grade 8 and 9 (licensed) Referees: Want to Ref PSC U7-U12 Rec games?
The PSC Rec Referee Draft is Tuesday, April 12, 7:00 p.m. sharp, at Small Blessings.  
There will be an info session prior to sign ups, required for all Referees. Ref attending the info meeting will have first chance to select games to ref. Referees should bring a copy of their own (player) schedule and the PSC game schedule to the draft. The PSC Game Schedule is posted on PSC website referee page no later than Sunday evening April 10. Please contact Bill Walters with questions before the draft and Brian Malone (Rec Referee Assignor) during and after the draft.

Play 3v3 Live at PSC! June 18, 2011

 

Pike Soccer Club hosts 3v3 Live Soccer Tour, June 18, 2011 at the Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex. Form your own team. All skill levels invited. 3v3 Live is a one-day tournament open to teams ages U6 to Adult and both recreational and competitive skill levels. Teams may register up to 6 players and the cost of $165 per team includes at least 4 games, all fees (referees) and includes a t-shirt for each player. The top 3 teams in each division receive a custom medal and an invitation to the 3v3 Live Regional Final closest to Indianapolis. A top performance at Regionals qualifies your team to compete at the 2011 3v3 Live Winter National Finals in 2012 at site TBD.

Training at the Mary & John Geisse Soccer Complex South just north of the snack bar and led by Dan Kapsalis, PSC's Soccer Director and or age group lead coach.  Additional professional travel coaches will help with each session.These training sessions are free-included in Spring 2011 registration fees.

 

There will be time to meet with your child's coach immediately after the first session.  Coach note: Please make plans to stay for 10 minutes after the first session so the Referee Committee can brief you on your important role in PSC Referee Development Academy, the best in Indiana.

Openings on the U16-U17-U18 girls teams. 

Although most Indy Burn teams are full, there occasionally is a team that could add a player or two. If you have a friend who is looking to join a good travel team with a good coach and excellent Club Coaches, Technical Trainers, and GK coaches, please ask them to contact their age groups Head Coach.
