And now a word from our sponsor, Small Blessings
Small Blessings LogoIf you've attended a Pike Soccer Club Board meeting, Annual meeting, Referee course, Indy Burn Coach meeting, or Indy Burn Team Manager meeting, you have likely already visited Small Blessings school and day care.  If you are in the market for a school or day care, please see one parent's comments below and visit the website for video:  http://www.smallblessingsinc.com/

"Small Blessings, Inc., nationally accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), an Indiana Paths to Quality Level 4 provider, and a 5 Star Environmental Rating recognized by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, is a childcare program serving Zionsville, Pike Township, Carmel, Westfield, Whitestown, Brownsburg, Northwest Indianapolis, and other surrounding areas."

"When I relocated to the Zionsville area over five years ago I knew that I had to find quality child care for my three children. The job I moved here for fell through but I still sought out childcare for them, wanting them settled in a good quality program before I ever started back to work.

They had attended various programs throughout their lives, so I knew exactly what I was looking for: a safe and healthy environment, educated teachers, hopefully a NAEYC accreditation, and a Christian program would have been a perk! Having sickbay for sick child care was a wonderful feature as well, which as a single mom I knew I would utilize--but it didn't determine that this would be the place. At the time my children were 5, 6, and 11 and though I knew the local schools had programs available, I wanted a different kindergarten program, and needed that school age program to be a caring and encouraging program. I had spoken with the administration on the phone, but you just never know until you visit what you might find! Everyone can talk up anything on the phone. Small Blessings was the last place I visited and when I walked in, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for--and signed them up right away!

Little did I know a month later I would start working here as well.

Over the past five years this school has become our second home, our community, and our family. Aubree, William, Zoe are older now, and Aubree volunteers for various events we hold as well as continues to ask how the children are doing she helped care for when she was here as a younger teen. William and Zoe still look forward to coming after school and to summer camp--they especially look forward to attending our family activities such as Summer Social, Breakfast with Santa, Health & Safety Fair and even the staff meetings--this is their community and they proudly tell their peers and adults they meet about Small Blessings. Being a part of Small Blessings has also been good for me. I've become a better parent and better person, having learned so much through the continuing education provided to our staff, and just being around the wonderful families and children in our care."
