From the Chief Executive Officer:

Is it me or did winter turn to summer without regard to spring?  We Floridians are programmed to deal with drastic change.   So it also is with Share the Care.  After we published last month's newsletter we were forced to postpone our golf tournament.  FYI - the new date is October 28. 

Also, just around the corner is our Caregiver Forum and Gala, this year celebrating our 25^th anniversary.  It is our big get-together of the year and the gala raises funds to help us serve additional families.  If you would like to help just let us know.  An example of how a family assisted in the Gala/Auction is Irene Lotzer whose family donated a week at their lakefront cabin in northern Wisconsin.  That donation brought in $700.00 to Share the Care.  Thanks Irene!  Maybe you have items or connection to businesses who would donate.  Please let us know and we can provide you with tax forms etc. 

Often families tell me that they couldn't do it without Share the Care.  The truth is that the families are what STC is all about.  Families participate at every level and are the only reason that any of our efforts succeed.  Thanks for all you do!
