  • The 25th Annual Dance for Diabetes was held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at The Drake Hotel, Chicago. Over 520 students, faculty, administration, staff, and alumni were in attendance to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dance for Diabetes. The night included a reception and silent auction, three-course dinner, and live auction. The crowd was entertained by RFUMS's own Pacemakers a cappella group. In all, the event raised $28,000, with approximately $21,000 benefitting the American Diabetes Association, and approximately $7,000 benefitting the new RFUMS Students Dedicated to Diabetes Research and Education Initiative. The students did an incredible job organizing this event, the kick-off for the University's centennial, with a record number of guests and funds raised. Thank you to all who supported this event.

  • We have just ended another calendar year with many alumni, faculty, staff, friends, foundations and corporate donors participating in year-end charitable giving. We are on track with our philanthropic goals for the 2011/2012 fiscal year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have chosen to participate in year-end giving, and encourage others who wish to make a gift to do so in the second half of the University's fiscal year (January-June). There are many ways to donate, including purchasing an engraved brick, commemorative bench, monthly payroll deduction, etc. In the coming weeks, we will be sending out information on philanthropic opportunities centered around the University's Centennial Celebration.

You can Make-A-Gift online by clicking here. Gifts can also be made by payroll deduction, one of the easiest and most convenient ways to give. Click here to print and fill out the Faculty/Staff Giving Form. You can also contact Mark Russell, Director of Annual Giving, at 847-578-8340 or at mark.russell@rosalindfranklin.edu.
