Greetings!
Oh what a night it was as guests were welcomed to Youth Homes 3rd Annual Gala, Hearts for Hope on October 29th. We were able to raise over $100,000 for our valuable programs serving foster youth, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, attendees and volunteers.
From an exciting wine toss game to various raffle prizes, there was never a dull moment. Starting with a rousing welcome from Bob Sarlatte, our emcee and auctioneer, to our own Executive Director Stuart McCullough who never fails to inspire, the night was full of thrills. Let's not forget one of our own and guest speaker, Kevin Bristow who rendered a heartfelt account of what it was like to be raised in the Youth Homes family and most importantly - what it really means to be accepted and loved.
Another highlight was the fantastic flash mob with teen participants from Barrett Lindsay-Steiner's theatre group. Choreographed by Ben Bogen, it brought a whole new energy level to Diablo Country Club. Watch the Flash Mob Video Now! To top off the evening, great music by Larry Lynch & The Mob ensured the dance floor was never empty and everyone agreed - it was an evening to remember.

Dear supporters and friends,
Our annual gala provides us with the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the power of the human heart. We have the ability to create hope in the lives of the young foster children whose lives have been so very chaotic and tragic. Our kids teach us every day that the human spirit is truly indomitable and we marvel at their strength, determination and resiliency.
