Greetings!
Spring has come and gone. It now feels like mid-August with temperatures in the mid-90's or more! The foxgloves and snap dragons are gone, but the ever-blooming roses are into their second showing already! The long, hot months are ahead here in SC, so many of us will spend more comfortable time indoors - perfect for working on our special projects. We would like to share some photos of our customers' finished projects to inspire you to finish your own. ***Please note: Deadline for Christmas needlepoint finishing is September 15!

2012 Needlepoint Classes As we prepare for this summer's sold-out Canvas Embellishment Class with Tony Minieri, we want to encourage you to sign up for our 2012 classes while there is still room! You can visit our web site: www.itsastitch.net to fill out a class registration form to return to us, or call us at your earliest convenience. As you know, class space is limited to a maximum of 20, and Tony's classes fill quickly, so the sooner you let us know of your interest, the better. APRIL 13 -16, 2012 2 Two Day Classes! Something different this year - the dates and the format. Next spring we will host Tony Minieri as he teaches two of his own designs, "La Belle Joelle" and "The Garden of Love". Sign up for one or both. These are for the intermediate stitcher, who has knowledge of using a laying tool and working with stitch diagrams. Each design measures approximately 7 1/2 inches square and would look beautiful framed, or in a lovely wood or lacquered box top. April 13-14, 2012 "La Belle Joelle"

Double the fun next July as we offer two Canvas Embellishment Classes with Tony Minieri July 6-9, 2012 and July 11-14, 2012!
Join us next summer and make the canvas of YOUR choice come to life with a personalized stitch and thread guide created by Tony and stitch with a group of enthusiastic people who eagerly await the unveiling of their own projects as well as yours. It is a great opportunity to get inspired! Choose either date, fill out and send us a registration form found on our web site, or call us to add your name to the list. A few people have signed up for both sessions, requiring two different canvases! Below are a few of the stitched canvases from last summer's Canvas Embellishment Class. Aren't they terrific?

Below is a beautiful baby blanket knit by our own Jean! The pattern is from "The Baby Blanket Book" from Sirdar, which has seventeen patterns for exquisite baby blankets and shawls. Jean's pattern is called "The Birth Day Blanket" - can you see the various knitting patterns included? There is space in the center where the heart is knit, to embroider your baby's name and birthday, that creates a unique gift.

He's (she's) baaack! Clearly one of our most popular canvases - wonder why? Hmmm...could it be that it is a much friendlier looking creature than the more prehistoric ones we see on the banks of our ponds?
