 Happy Spring! It has been a wonderful season here in Charleston. Everything is in bloom and we are loving it. So many of you are traveling to see us while enjoying all that Charleston, and our islands have to offer. Tony Minieri is coming!!!
That's right! The Headmaster's return engagement will be double the fun this summer when Tony will be here for two of his popular Canvas Embellishment classes. Each student chooses a different canvas to stitch, we send them all to Tony who creates the most wonderful stitch guides for them. We spend four fun-filled days in each of these classes marveling at everyone's canvases as they come to life with Tony's interpretations. While July 2010 classes are full, we already have him booked for July 8-11, 2011 and we are taking reservations for that class right now - so call if you want your name on that list, contact us as soon as possible. Space is limited.

J.P. Sligh of Labors of Love Designs in Atlanta, has designed the most adorable two-sided (or 3 dimensional) alligators at our request...just a great reminder of those creatures we see so often in the Low Country. A stitch guide is being created, but they are already disappearing at great speed. Call us quickly to get yours!

Christmas!
Oh no - not already!
OH yes...it is not too early to think about those Christmas projects. We are sending a "gentle reminder" to have those projects ready for finishing and in the shop by September 1 to insure they are back to you in time to enjoy for the season. Finishing deadlines seem to get earlier every year, so don't be late!
Here is one recently sent to one of our finishers to be made into a tray (surrounded by silk matting), with pewter koi handles which will then fit into a hand-painted butler's table. Linda cannot wait to get this sea beauty back.
Market
We're off to the big TNNA Market in June! We'll be looking for all that is new and wonderful in canvases, threads, yarns, books, etc., but we always welcome your suggestions too. Feel free to drop us an e-mail, or call with any ideas you might have.

Private Lessons = $25 per hour
