Historical Valuation Trends
We've added four new charts to the ETF Research Center showing historical valuation trends for:
- Price-to-Earnings ratio
- Price-to-Sales ratio
- Dividend Yield
- Price-to-Book Value ratio
Enter the ticker symbol for an ETF of interest as usual on the site and click on the "Investment Merit" tab. Below our data on ALTAR Score™ rating and common valuation metrics you will find the four new charts. (For sample charts click here, then Investment Merit tab). Mouse-over the charts to see individual data points, or right-click and choose "Full screen" to enlarge for easy, detailed viewing. You can quickly see how the market is currently valuing stocks in the fund in relation to their recent past, and screen for potential buy opportunities for those trading near the bottom of their historical range (or sell points for funds trading near the top of their valuation range).
