Join Us For Christmas Caroling!
On Tuesday evening from 5-6pm, all of our school families are invited to join with our Spirit Squad for Christmas Caroling in the Elliott/Towne/Knight Street neighborhood (meeting in that park to start) off MacArthur.
Students are encouraged to wear Santa hats or holiday accessories, whatever fits their fancy. There will be hot chocolate & cookies for everyone to enjoy after caroling!
The Spirit Squad will keep things rolling smoothly by keeping the group moving and singing together. We will be leading the group in 5 or more favorite & easy to sing songs. We will hand out goody bags to each house and spread the holiday spirit. We are lucky to have such a great group of girls and all of their energy. With them, this event will be easy and everyone will be singing the same song!
We hope you can join us! |
Grades 1, 2 4 & 5 Enjoy Trip to Wells Fargo Center
Last Friday, two big yellow school buses (from Justin- Siena) filled with Presentation students traveled to The Wells Fargo Center in Santa Rosa for a performance of Posada Navideña by Compañia Mazatlán Bellas Artes de Sacramento. This folkloric dance and music show highlighted the traditions of Mexico with a delightful performance for students of all ages and cultures. A rainbow of shimmering color on stage, Posada Navideña charmed our students with Mexico's unique holiday customs and traditions. |

4th Grade Extracts Their DNA with Help from Buck Institute Scientists In a very cool experiment last Wednesday, our 4th graders worked with scientists from the Buck Institute to collect and extract their DNA with the help of Gatorade and safe everyday chemicals. The students learned a lot and seemed to enjoy heading home with a vial of their DNA around their neck. Thank you to school parent, Denise Kalos, for making this possible. |
