Greetings!
Can you see the photos when opening Kidz Reading Tips? If not, be sure to click above on "click here" to download pictures. They often tell a bigger part of the story, as in Tip 2 where the little girl is reading to a dog. . . in the library!

Tip 2 Dogs Aid Reading |
A recent study by UC Davis's School of Veterinary Medicine found substantial reading improvement in children - just by reading to dogs! Test groups included public school 3rd graders and a homeschooled group. Fluency improved 12% in first group after several weeks. After ten weeks, fluency improved 30% in second group. In addition to fluency improvement, 75% of parents reported that their children read aloud with greater confidence and more frequently.

How can this be, you ask? Well, reading to a dog provides nonjudgmental practice. The more you practice, the more fluent you become. The more positive the experience, the more you are apt to do it over and over again. So, in this case, let reading "go to the dogs" and build your child's fluency, self esteem and reading enjoyment!

Diagnostic Reading Test
"Calling on you to do a reading assessment was the best thing we did to get on a positive track for our daughter this summer. The short time she spent with you and the small fee you asked paid back in several ways.
Not only has the assessment given us a placement of her reading skills in comprehension, phonics and applicable sensory processing, we also have been able to utilize the methods you gave us easily and naturally. We implemented them the day we got the report from you!"
Call today for this special testing for your child that comes with written report to remedy weaknesses.
