It has been awhile since we have connected. Braeden is doing well and growing. Paul is continuing to have some challenges with his heart and will be undergoing another heart procedure in a couple weeks. We are planning to be away this week for a time of
rest and renewal.

PROJECT HOMELESS CONNECT
The last couple of weeks we have been working at the warehouse with volunteers to prepare for Project Homeless Connect held at The Chapel in Akron.
Over 800 people were served at Project Homeless by medical professionals, receiving food, clothing, hair cuts and more.. Early in the day we ran out of flashlights with "Jesus is the Light" written upon them. It was a blessing to have so many stop by and talk with us.
A goal of Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is to provide a single location where non profit medical and social service providers collaborate to serve the homeless of NE Ohio with comprehensive, holistic services.
Through the Roof Ministries' goal is to share Jesus love in tangible ways with the underprivileged and those affected by disabilities. Project Homeless and Through the Roof is a great fit to meet these needs.
We were able to provide wheelchairs for the day and custom fit walkers, canes and crutches. We even needed to go out and purchase more canes. Thank you for partnering with us through prayers and support to provide this much needed service.

SAVE THOSE ALUMINUM CANS YEAR ROUND!!!
Please remember to save aluminum cans! We recycle them and purchase canes and other medical equipment for those in need, funds also provide transportation locally and internationally. Cans can be dropped of at The Chapel in Akron or Green.
