Although last month brought a fair amount of rain, rain, and more rain, you ladies didn't let it dampen your spirits!  Then again, the margaritas consumed at our Mother's Night Out may have been the reason!

Mother's Night Out at Milagros

Thanks to those of you who were able to join us for some margarita induced laughs!  To those that we missed, we will see you all soon!

We also learned that three of our moms took NATIONAL spots in our Mother Love Fitness Challenge!  Way to go ladies! Congrats to Kaycie Wall, Stephanie Cur, and Elaine Glynn! We shall learn on April 15th how we did for March!

Locally, we have wrapped our 2nd month of the Mother Love Fitness Challenge.  You ladies were sculpting your core into fine form!  Way to stretch, hydrate, and tighten those waistlines.

So, who took our top spots this month?

Congratulations to Maria Amren for stretching herself into the top spot for most stretching points!  Maria has been working out with us for nearly three years.  When I met her, I began calling her the Bionic Woman! Does anything slow her down?
You have won the Mommy Muscle Fit 'n Fun Mat.

Congratulations to Lisa Mehta for holding a super long tree pose.  Lisa held it for 25 minutes before I realized that our eyes were supposed to be closed.   So sorry!  However, it was really fun watching you work it! She still went on to hold for over 2:20 with her eyes closed!
You have won a Joggermom yoga mat with built in strap!

Congrats to our Stephanie Cur for holding the longest tree pose with your eyes closed at 2:54.  Seriously, is your baby really only 12 weeks old?  Your core has certainly bounced back!  You have won a Pish Posh Carryall.

There are more prizes yet to come and some really AMAZING ONES!  So, keep working hard! We are in our final month! Let's finish strong!!!!!  Don't forget that my friends Mr. Tape Measure and Mr. Scale will be showing up in class in 2 1/2 weeks! Tick Tock...Tick Tock!

Christy Doyle - Race Against PH

My Story:

I became involved with Baby Boot Camp almost three years ago after attending my "first class free."   I had gained 58 pounds while pregnant with my daughter.  I had always been fit and active and the weight really bothered me.  My body felt completely foreign to me postpartum.  In addition, I didn't have family or any "mommy" friends out here.  The walls were shrinking around the house!

Then I found Baby Boot Camp.  The sky was blue, birds were chirping, and my daughter was sound asleep.  Does it get any better?  Absolutely!  I met my future best friends, found a way to laugh and enjoy squats (yes, I did say ENJOY), and became a much better mother thanks to the support and encouragement I found at Baby Boot Camp class. It simply changed my life....and the scale too! I I became a four day a week regular at class.  While the pounds were dropping, my spirit was soaring.  After some time as a client, I began studying for my national fitness credential so that I could become a Baby Boot Camp instructor.  I grew up competing in sports, ran cross country while at University, coached high school softball and track/field and always kept active.   So, I was really excited for my new endeavor!  After teaching for six months, I had the opportunity to buy the franchise.  I was hooked by my first push up and jump squat, so there was only one answer to that question:  YES!   It was simply perfect! Thanks to Baby Boot Camp I regained my inner athlete.  It also made me realize that my fittest days were NOT behind me, but very much in my present and future.  So, "thank you" Baby Boot Camp for changing my life for the better!

Now my days begin surrounded by incredible and inspiring women! I love Baby Boot Camp and all the positivity it has brought into my life!
