Greetings!

Inspiration was in abundance this past month!  Many of you committed to achieving your fitness goals in 2011 and February saw you well on your way.  Our 5K/10K running program was in full swing.  It was also the first month in our three month long national Mother Love Fitness Challenge.

 

Our fitness challenge in February focused on increasing our strength.  You all reminded me that anything in life is possible if you are determined, want it, and set your mind to make it happen.  I was inspired and awestruck by your efforts and so proud of each of you!  It is also a reminder that your fittest days are very much ahead of you!  With hard work and consistency, you will be reaching new heights and setting even more challenging goals.

Our strong love month has come to a close.  You ladies certainly went out with a BANG!  Here are a few highlights:

Let's be clear!  100 jump squats are a lot.  You ladies were bent and determined to take it to a whole new playing field!

Congratulations to Stephanie Cur for having the highest percentage increase!  You increased your jump squats from 80 on day one to 1,200 on the final day.  That is a 1,400% increase.  You have won a gift basket full of amazing goodies from Petite Village!

Congratulations to Jessie Gieseke for having the 2nd highest percentage increase at 700%.  Jessie completed 1,600 jump squats!  You have won a Food Face plate and a Baby Boot Camp coffee mug.

You ladies were on a serious mission!  Congratulations to Jillian and Jane for taking 1st. In addition to Jane being tied for first with 70 pushups, she also completed 1,758 jump squats and held a 4:21 plank.

Congratulation to Elaine Glynn on improving 900%!  On day one you completed 1 push up.  By the final assessment, you did 10! That is exactly what this competition is all about!  Way to go! You have won a Pish Posh Carryall. 

Adrienne Newlands  - You have lost inches and pounds at Baby Boot Camp.  You have gone from 2 push ups to 13.  That is fantastic!  You have won a long sleeve Baby Boot Camp shirt.

Congratulations to Jillian Simms for taking home the top spot in the plank competition!  In addition, she tied for 1st with 70 pushups and also improved her plank by 229%!  Yes, she has the rug burns on her forearms to support the 7:08 plank.

Christy Doyle - Race Against PH

My Story:

I became involved with Baby Boot Camp almost three years ago after attending my "first class free."   I had gained 58 pounds while pregnant with my daughter.  I had always been fit and active and the weight really bothered me.  My body felt completely foreign to me postpartum.  In addition, I didn't have family or any "mommy" friends out here.  The walls were shrinking around the house!  

Then I found Baby Boot Camp.  The sky was blue, birds were chirping, and my daughter was sound asleep.  Does it get any better?  Absolutely!  I met my future best friends, found a way to laugh and enjoy squats (yes, I did say ENJOY), and became a much better mother thanks to the support and encouragement I found at Baby Boot Camp class. It simply changed my life....and the scale too! I I became a four day a week regular at class.  While the pounds were dropping, my spirits were soaring.  After some time as a client, I began studying for my national fitness credential so that I could become a Baby Boot Camp instructor.  I grew up competing in sports, ran cross country while at University, coached high school softball and track/field and always kept active.   So, I was really excited for my new endeavor!  After teaching for six months, I had the opportunity to buy the franchise.  I was hooked by my first push up and jump squat, so there was only one answer to that question:  YES!   It was simply perfect! Thanks to Baby Boot Camp I regained my inner athlete.  It also made me realize that my fittest days were NOT behind me, but very much in my present and future.  So, "thank you" Baby Boot Camp for changing my life for the better!

 

Now my days begin surrounded by incredible and inspiring women! I love Baby Boot Camp and all the positivity it has brought into my life!

Class Safety 

 

Our #1 priority is to provide a safe environment for both you and your child.  You can help us achieve this by properly securing your child in a stroller or jogger during class. 

 

Corporate mandates that all children attending class be secure throughout the class.


 

 

Rain Policy

 

Redwood City Classes

 

Redwood City DOES offer an indoor location in the event that it is raining at class time.

  Park at 1400 Roosevelt Avenue.  We will hold class inside the community center.  This is in the red building in the parking lot next to the main community center.

 

Clifford School Saturday Class

 

This class does run on rain days.  The school has covered walkways that are dry and a great playground for class!

 

Stanford Classes

 

Classes will run in light rain.  Grab a rain shield for your stroller and get out in the fresh air.  If heavy rainfall occurs, classes will be canceled.  You will receive a notification via our Yahoo Group.  It will also be posted on our Facebook page.
